THE EASTMOOR PROJECT

What is The Eastmoor Project?

The Eastmoor Project was a web show that was originally uploaded to Youtube from late Spring 2008 to Fall 2012. The show ran 42 episodes and revolves around two main characters who live in the fictional town of Eastmoor, Texas. These characters are Johnny Darkness, a misanthropic metalhead who seems to hate everything except himself and his band, and Booger J. Johnson, a self proclaimed redneck who frequently gets into numerous predicaments because of his naivety. Numerous other recurring characters have agency in the show as well, mostly in the form of obscure celebrity parodies or quirky supporting characters.

Due to issues with some of the content and copyright issues I removed the show from YouTube around 2015 and was reluctant to reupload it, but after much consideration I have decided to reedit the three seasons into three films to address the aforementioned issues. These new edits change the original episode ideas to a degree, but I have tried to mostly stay true to the original story. I have also added a lot of new footage and scenes, but unfortunately, some of the original audio and video elements were damaged or lost, resulting it some odd work arounds and glitches.

This series of videos was filmed in the years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2017. These videos were edited and reuploaded in 2024.

  • The original episodes were riddled with questionable and unauthorized copyrighted material. The original episodes also featured some jokes that just weren't even remotely amusing.

To comply with copyright, I removed the original videos.

  • Unfortunately in November 2012 after completion of the third and final season of The Eastmoor Project Brett Cromwell died in November of 2012, followed by Anita Cromwell, who died in February 2017.

Brett contributed a considerable amount to the Eastmoor character roster and wrote quite a few jokes and scenes for the show as well as operated the camera. Anita Cromwell was also instrumental in assisting with props, makeup, providing additional voices, and some writing as well.

In addition to these deaths, I left Texas a few years back and due to excessive malicious human interference in my current location I can't see it happening any time soon.
